Biography
prof. Dr. Barış Nuhoğlu was born in 1965 in Trabzon. He started his career after graduating from Uludag University Faculty of Medicine in 1988. He completed his assistantship in Ankara Training and Research Hospital Urology Clinic in 1997 and received the title of urology specialist.
After receiving his Associate Professorship in 2006 as a result of his academic studies, he successfully performed numerous operations in the fields of urooncology, pediatric urology, reconstructive urology and laparoscopic surgery. Contributing to the education and professional development of many residency students and urology specialists, Dr. Barış Nuhoğlu received the Davinci Consule Surgeun training in 2010 (IRCAD-EITS,France). In 2011, he received the title of Professor of Urology. Dr. Between 2007 and 2020, Barış Nuhoğlu worked as Clinical Chief at Bağcılar Training and Research Hospital and Taksim Training and Research Hospital, as the Head of the Department of Urology at Erzincan University Faculty of Medicine and Istanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University.
His special areas of interest are urooncology, laparoscopic and robotic surgery, reconstructive (hypospadias, urethroplasty, penile surgery, etc.) surgeries.
In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, fishing and spending time with his family.
